OPPORTUNITY

In today's economy, it is hard to rely on only a 9 to 5 job for your entire livelihood. The pay for certain jobs is not always what it should be (ie: teachers, hospitality industry etc...) and job security is never guaranteed.  Most times, people are just working a job to get by and not really doing what they love or are passionate about.

Over and over again, I have heard the saying, "Do What You Love and it Will Never Feel Like Work!"  Well, the only time I can honestly say I felt that way, was when I worked in the music industry for 10 years! I seriously had one of the best jobs ever. It was a true privilege to listen to, promote and sell music for a living!  However, life takes you in different directions and then I got stuck in a pretty mundane job and routine and was faced with some health issues that thankfully, I overcame.

During the years I struggled with recovery, I listened to and read a lot of self-help and personal development books.  One of the most enlightening videos and books I enjoyed was "Secrets of a Millionaire's Mind by T. Harv Eker.  He stressed the importance of having 7 streams of income!

When you have multiple streams of income, you can avoid putting all your "eggs in one basket" and use several streams of cash to build up your savings.  I am not exactly at 7 streams of income yet, but I do have a few that I would like to share with you.  Now, I have to tell you, I personally enjoy Network Marketing. It may not be for you and that's okay but the streams of income I have chosen are mainly MLM's (multilevel marketing) companies. Some people choose just one company and stick to that, but I figured there are a variety of products and companies I like, so why choose only one?

You can choose whatever you enjoy to make residual income. Residual income streams are a great way to make extra money - basically it's your "expendable" income.  When you create passive income streams that generate money while you sleep, you build wealth faster. If you only rely on your job for income, you have to be sure you are saving for retirement and not just spending all your salary paying bills.

Some Options to Consider as a Side Hustle:

1. You Can Offer a Service
2. Sell Products (ie: make-up, t-shirts, health & wellness)
3. Try Affiliate Marketing
4. Create a Product (like on Etsy)
5. Start an online boutique or business
6. Start a blog for profit
